With the clinic now open till 5.30 every evening, and Saturday mornings from 9-12pm getting your pet in should not be a problem.

Waimate has always had a strong focus on sheep, beef, and deer services. While this remains, there has been a shift towards becoming a specialist Dairy practice, reflecting the growth within the region. The practice boasts skilled ambulatory vets, as well as trained In-Calf, Healthy Hoof, Mastitis, and Nutrition advisors who can help with your animal health planning, as well as assisting in disease investigations. Our vets are dedicated to lifelong learning and upskilling so they can offer your business the most current, valuable knowledge to drive the profitability of your farm.

This practice has evolved significantly over the years from a history as the Waimate Farmers Veterinary Club, a very successful farmer-owned co-operative set up to provide veterinary services to the area. It is now a solid, rural based 6-vet practice, offering a full range of gold standard clinical services, and very much a part of the local community.
