Veterinary Centre Timaru is the newest and largest clinic in the south canterbury area. With 35 veterinarians and 65+ support staff spread throughout all our 8 clinics, there is a wealth of experience and knowledge on tap.

With dedicated small animal veterinarians overseeing patient care, an enthusiastic team of support staff, and a suite of diagnostic and surgical equipment (including x-ray, ultrasound and dental) the clinic is well placed to serve all your pet’s needs. With the clinic open Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm, Saturday 9am - 1pm our team is readily available to help you and your pet with consultations, routine procedures, orthopaedic surgeries, and emergencies.

In the farming sector the Veterinary Centre has long been seen as a specialist Dairy practice, but retains strong skills in the areas of Sheep, Beef, and Deer farming and animal health. The practice boasts skilled ambulatory vets, as well as trained In-Calf, Healthy Hoof, Mastitis, and Nutrition advisors who can help with your animal health planning, as well as assisting in disease investigations.
