The new, purpose built (and air-conditioned!) veterinary clinic in Omarama was opened in October 2007. We currently have two vets based out of the Omarama clinic, servicing the Kurow, Omarama, Twizel, and McKenzie region.

Our vets offer the full range of services, for both farm and companion animals. The practice boasts skilled ambulatory vets, as well as trained In-Calf, Healthy Hoof, Mastitis, and Nutrition advisors who can help with your animal health planning, as well as assisting in disease investigations. Our vets are dedicated to lifelong learning and upskilling so they can offer your business the most current, valuable knowledge to drive the profitability of your farm.

At the clinic we offer most medical and surgical services, including routine neuters and speys, and trauma repairs. More complicated surgeries may be transferred to the base hospital in Oamaru. The clinic services a lot of local pets, but we also experience a large increase over summer with campers and their pets.
