Veterinary Centre Kurow

Our Kurow Veterinary Centre has benefited from a major refit and restock and is set up to meet the needs of the local clients-sheep and beef, small animal, and dairy. The new consult and surgery rooms are efficiently designed and the store is well stocked with quality animal health supplies. We have vets on site daily, with two vets based in the region, servicing the Kurow, Omarama, Twizel, and McKenzie areas.

Our vets offer the full range of services, for both farm and companion animals. The practice boasts skilled ambulatory vets, as well as trained In-Calf, Healthy Hoof, Mastitis, and Nutrition advisors who can help with your animal health planning, as well as assisting in disease investigations. Our vets are dedicated to lifelong learning and upskilling so they can offer your business the most current, valuable knowledge to drive the profitability of your farm.

At the clinic we offer most medical and surgical services, including routine neuters and speys, and trauma repairs. More complicated surgeries may be transferred to the base hospital in Oamaru. The clinic services a lot of local pets, but we also experience a large increase over summer with campers and their pets.
